Let’s Make AI Practical: Join Me at Community Summit in Nashville

AI has officially moved from “something we should probably learn about” to “something we need to actually figure out how to use.”

But there’s a big difference between understanding what AI can do and knowing how to put it to work in the tools you already use.

That’s exactly what my upcoming Community Summit Academy class is about.

Practical AI in the Power Platform

On October 11, I’ll be in Nashville for a full day of Practical AI in the Power Platform, where we’ll take a practical, hands-on look at AI and how it fits into the Power Platform.

We’ll start with an introduction to AI and some of the concepts you need to understand. From there, we’ll move into how AI is actually being used across the Power Platform, both for everyday users and for makers building solutions.

We’ll get into things like:

  • Copilot for Sales
  • Writing better, more effective prompts
  • Copilot Studio
  • AI capabilities across the Power Platform
  • Practical use cases for users and makers
  • Hands-on labs
  • Real-world examples
  • Plenty of discussion and time for questions

And I really mean hands-on.

This isn’t going to be a day of sitting in a room while someone talks about how amazing AI is and shows you a bunch of slides.

There will be plenty of opportunities to actually try things, experiment, ask questions, and figure out how these tools can work for you.

Learn together, then keep learning afterward

One thing I’m particularly excited about with this format is that the lessons and labs have already been recorded.

That means attendees will get access to the content online after the class.

So while we’re together in Nashville, we can spend our time doing the things that are much harder to get from a recording: having conversations, working through problems, trying things out, comparing approaches, and answering all of those “OK, but what if I want to do THIS?” questions.

Basically, less sitting quietly while I talk at you and more learning by actually doing.

And yes, there will be plenty of time for discussion.

Who is this for?

If you work with the Power Platform and keep hearing more and more about AI, this is for you.

You don’t need to be an AI expert.

You don’t need to be a hardcore developer.

And you don’t need to already know everything about Copilot Studio or prompting.

The goal is to build a practical understanding of AI and then show you how those concepts translate into the Power Platform.

Whether you’re a Power Platform user, maker, consultant, developer, or just someone trying to keep up with where all of this is going, you’ll have an opportunity to learn something you can actually take back and use.

Come learn with me in Nashville

The Academy takes place October 11 at Community Summit in Nashville.

The Academy class is an add-on registration to Community Summit, so you’ll need to add the class to your Summit registration.

And one important date to keep in mind:

Register before September 14 to reserve your spot.

AI doesn’t have to be intimidating. It doesn’t have to be theoretical. And you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

Let’s spend a day getting practical with it.

I hope to see you in Nashville!
